/about · technology-agnostic generalist

I work across technologies to build systems end to end.

I'm a technology-agnostic software architect and senior engineer based in Skopje, with 12+ years building products and the systems that keep them running. I work as an end-to-end systems generalist, moving across product decisions, application code, data, infrastructure, security, and production operations.

I don't organize my work around a favorite language or framework. I start with the domain, constraints, team, and operating environment; choose technology for fit; then learn whatever the system requires and stay involved from architecture through delivery.

I use AI-assisted workflows to increase throughput without outsourcing judgment: decomposing work into bounded tasks, running research, implementation, testing, and review in parallel with sub-agents, and verifying the result. I also design AI-enabled systems themselves, with explicit tools, evaluation, identity, human control, and safe failure.

capabilities

One systems view, across layers.

Architecture, implementation, production, security, and AI are connected decisions, not separate job descriptions.
01 / software architecture

Architecture that survives contact with delivery.

I turn product goals and constraints into clear boundaries, interfaces, quality attributes, and evolutionary decisions a team can actually implement.

  • System boundaries and interfaces
  • Trade-off and risk decisions
  • Incremental modernization paths
02 / production engineering

Build it, ship it, operate it.

I move across application code, data, delivery, observability, reliability, performance, and cost so architecture stays connected to what actually runs.

  • Hands-on product delivery
  • Deployment and observability
  • Reliability, performance, and cost
03 / security by design

Security in the architecture, not after it.

I model trust boundaries, identity, data exposure, dependencies, and failure modes early, then encode least privilege into the implementation.

  • Threat models and trust boundaries
  • Identity and least privilege
  • Data and supply-chain safeguards
04 / AI systems engineering

Useful agents with explicit boundaries.

I design AI-enabled workflows as software systems: tools, context, evaluation, identity, and human control, not a prompt wrapped in a demo.

  • Agent workflows and tool contracts
  • Evaluation and regression suites
  • Human approval and safe failure paths
technology

The problem chooses the stack.

Tools matter, but fit matters more. I use technologies I know when they serve the system and ramp into unfamiliar ones when they do not.
01 / choose

Choose from constraints.

I start with the domain, team, ecosystem, runtime, and operational constraints, then select technology for fit rather than familiarity.

CelerSearch · Laravel, Go, and TypeScript across a platform that has deployed 2,000+ search instances.
02 / adapt

Learn the system, not just the syntax.

In an unfamiliar stack, I map the concepts, interfaces, and failure modes, then validate my understanding through thin implementation slices.

InvoiceShelf · multi-tenancy and cross-layer modularization across a mature Laravel and Vue codebase.
03 / amplify

Use AI to multiply focused work.

I decompose work into bounded tasks and use sub-agent workflows to parallelize research, implementation, testing, and review without delegating engineering judgment.

Method · accept generated work only after inspecting diffs and validating it with tests, evaluations, and runtime evidence.

off-hours

Outside the editor.

Most of my off-hours belong to my family. I'm a husband and father of two; when I get a little time to myself, I unwind with gaming or swimming.

Also, I love the mountains and being outdoors, especially hiking and off-roading. When I stay in, I enjoy watching sci-fi and mystery thrillers.
